Word For Today
Just before "you do", please remember these: Divine blueprints for a godly relationship:
Job 9:10 He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number.
---------------------------------------
“Genesis 2:18 (NKJV) 18 And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
All glory and honor to the Lord our God for the privilege of being together to worship Him again. Our God is gracious and merciful. We all are a proof of His divine favor.
Now, as you can remember, the month of May gives us the opportunity to focus on Godly relationships. You see, in any relationship you may be involved in, the word of God is clear and direct on what God's plan and agenda is, regarding those relationships.
In a world filled with conflicting messages about love and relationships, God has provided a clear and perfect blueprint for how a relationship should look—one that reflects His holiness, love, and purpose. A godly relationship is not just about emotional connection or physical attraction alone; it is primarily about glorifying God together and growing in Him as one. These explain what Godly relations looks like:
1. Christ at the Center. The foundation of any godly relationship must be Jesus Christ. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus...” When both individuals are pursuing Christ first, their relationship becomes a space where God’s presence can dwell and guide. A godly relationship doesn’t pull you away from God—it pushes you closer to Him.
2. Pursuing Righteousness Together - 2 Timothy 2:22 encourages us to “flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.” A relationship rooted in God prioritizes purity, integrity, and accountability. It seeks to honor God not just in public, but especially in private.
3. Mutual Submission and Respect - Ephesians 5:21 says, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” God’s blueprint includes mutual respect and humility. Each person serves the other selflessly, not for personal gain but out of love and reverence for Christ. This kind of relationship mirrors the love between Christ and His Church.
4. Honest Communication and Forgiveness - Proverbs 24:26 says, “An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.” Godly relationships are marked by open, honest, and grace-filled communication. No relationship is perfect, but one built on God’s Word will always return to forgiveness, just as Christ forgives us (Ephesians 4:32).
5. Shared Purpose and Vision - Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” A godly relationship is one where both partners walk in agreement with God’s calling and purpose. They encourage one another in faith, serve together in ministry, and dream together with God at the helm.
Today, before our very own Pastor Ibk blesses us, we will have a quick sit down together with the Tunsins family, to discuss some direct and frank issues regarding godly unions.
Dear RH, in conclusion, God’s design for relationships is intentional and holy. When we follow His blueprint, we will be able to build relationships that last, that heal, and that shine as a testimony to His love. Let your relationship reflect heaven—full of grace, truth, and agape love.

OUR BELIEF STATEMENT
The Bible: The Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. God: There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. The Holy Spirit: The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Man - Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. SalvationThe shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Return of Jesus Christ - The personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. Future Events: There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. The Church:The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head. Baptism and Communion: Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred an
